About JFM Auto

Jonathan’s interest in mechanics started at a young age. Before working on full-size vehicles, he started with gas-powered RC cars, learning how small engines, fuel systems, and mechanical components worked by taking them apart, troubleshooting problems, and getting them running again.

By the time he was 12 years old, that interest had grown into working on dirt bikes and ATVs. Each project gave him more hands-on experience and a better understanding of engines and mechanical systems.

As he got older, his attention turned to cars. It started with car audio systems, installing amplifiers and subwoofers to make his own car sound louder and better. But simply making everything work wasn’t enough. Jonathan wanted his installations to look clean and organized, which led him to focus on proper wiring, cable routing, secure connections, and attention to detail.

From there, the projects became more challenging. He began maintaining and repairing his own vehicles, diagnosing problems, replacing parts, and taking on increasingly involved mechanical work—including replacing his own transmission.

Jonathan is also currently attending Manatee Technical College (MTC), where he is continuing to develop his automotive knowledge and technical skills through formal training.

That progression—from gas-powered RC cars, to dirt bikes and ATVs, to automotive audio and electrical work, major mechanical repairs, and now technical education—is what helped inspire JFM Auto.

Today, JFM Auto brings that same hands-on approach and attention to detail to every vehicle. Whether it’s automotive repair, maintenance, electrical work, wiring cleanup, diagnostics, or custom installations, the philosophy is simple:
